When Lorenzo Walters wrote Tombstone's Yesterday in 1928, he had the advantage of being able to talk to many of the people who lived through and been a part of Tombstone's early history. Today this generation is gone. In years gone by, not enough attention was paid to the then-old-timers, and now are gone and their stories are gone with them. First editions of Tombstone's Yesterday have been very rare and much sought after by collectors. Rio Grande Press made this special book available again in 1968.
